‘Some Seen In My Dreams & Everything In-Between‘ is my first solo exhibition, showcasing a multidisciplinary collection of paintings, sculptures & cyanotype—featuring work created over the past four years. These varied mediums serve as tools to reflect on Black history, hold space for present-day narratives, and imagine expansive Black futures. At the heart of this exhibition are figurative portraits of Black women who have shaped and guided me—honoring their presence, influence, and resilience. Alongside these works, select paintings and sculptures move toward abstraction as a means of expressing the fluidity of Blackness—embracing its layered, evolving, and expansive nature. Through visual storytelling, I seek to affirm and celebrate the presence of Black individuals across the African diaspora, ensuring our stories are seen, heard, and valued. Altogether, the works navigate lived experiences, ancestral echoes, and dreamscapes—everything seen, felt, and imagined in-between.
